ETF, Index & Smart Beta
ETF, Exchange Traded Funds, also known as trackers, are indexed funds listed on the Stock Exchange. An ETF replicates a market index performance, such as the S&P500 or the Euronext 100.
A market index is an equity or bond performance indicator. It reflects the movements of a market or a sector.
Smart Beta strategies rely on indexes built according to the appreciation of a company, by equally weighting the companies' market capitalisations or according to volatility.
