Amundi announces the following appointments within its Clients Group:

  • Francesca Ciceri is appointed Head of the International Institutional Clients Division ;
  • Alexandra Van Gyseghem is appointed Head of the French Institutional Clients Division ;
  • Thierry Ancona, is appointed Vice-Chair and supervises the Distribution & Wealth Division ;
  • Isaure Chabannes Wright is appointed Global Head of ETF Sales & Digital Distribution ;
  • Thomas Pietri is appointed Head of Distribution France.

Biographies:

Francesca Ciceri

Francesca Ciceri began her career in 1998 within the private banking division of Merrill Lynch International Bank in London, before joining BNP Paribas Asset Management in 2000 as a Client Relationship Manager. In 2004, she joined Pioneer Investments as Head of Third-Party Distribution for the Italian, Greek, Cypriot and Maltese markets. In 2011, she was promoted to Head of Institutional Clients and Distribution for the same markets. In 2017, Francesca became Head of Institutional Client Coverage in Italy at Amundi, before being appointed Global Head of Institutional Client Coverage at Amundi in 2022.

She was appointed Head of the International Institutional Clients Division at Amundi in 2026.

Francesca Ciceri holds a degree in Management from Bocconi University in Milan.

Alexandra Van Gyseghem

Alexandra Van Gyseghem began her career in 1998 at CPR Asset Management as an Assistant Portfolio Manager within the global fixed income team, before becoming a High Yield Portfolio Manager in 2000. She joined Amundi in 2001 as a Credit Portfolio Manager, and was appointed Head of the Euro Investment Grade Credit team in 2015. In 2021, she became Chief Operating Officer of the Institutional and Corporate Clients Division, before being appointed Head of Group Insurance and Banks Coverage at Amundi in 2024.

She was appointed Head of the French Institutional Clients Division in 2026.

Alexandra Van Gyseghem holds a postgraduate degree in Banking and Finance and a postgraduate diploma in Financial and Banking Techniques from Paris-Panthéon-Assas University.

Thierry Ancona

Thierry's early career was spent in European Equity brokerage at Banque Indosuez and then at Credit Agricole Cheuvreux, where he successively held the positions of European Sales Managing Director and Deputy CEO in charge of Coverage. 

He joined Amundi in 2012 as Director in charge of Corporate Clients and Corporate Pension Funds. He was appointed Co-Head of the Treasury business line in 2015, Head of the Insurance Client Division in 2017, and Deputy Head of Coverage for Institutional and Corporate in 2019. In 2020, he became Global Head of Sales, Distribution & Wealth and ETF, and a member of Amundi’s Group Executive Committee. In May 2026, he was appointed Vice-Chair of Clients Group. 

Since September 2026, Thierry Ancona has been appointed Vice-Chair and has also supervised the Distribution & Wealth Division.

Thierry is a graduate of ESCP Business School and holds an Independent Board Director certificate from Sciences Po Paris.

Isaure Chabannes Wright

Before joining Amundi, Isaure Chabannes-Wright held various positions at BlackRock in Singapore, Australia and in France.

In 2023, she joined Amundi as Head of Distribution France. In 2025, she was appointed Deputy Global Head of ETF and Indexing Sales at Amundi. In 2026, she was appointed Global Head of ETF Sales & Digital Distribution.

She holds a Master’s degree in Management, with a specialization in Finance, from Paris-Dauphine University, as well as a Master’s degree in International Business from Macquarie University.

Thomas Pietri

Thomas Pietri began his career in 2015 in London as a Structured Finance Analyst at Societe Generale. He then joined Amundi in London in the  Institutional Sales team, before being appointed Head of UK Institutional Business development in 2021. In 2024, he relocated to France and was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Amundi’s Institutional and Corporate division, where he was responsible for the coordination and commercial steering of the division. In 2026, he was appointed Head of Distribution France at Amundi.

Thomas holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Toulouse Business School and is a CFA ESG Charterholder.
