Amundi annonce la nomination de Benoit Sorel en tant que Directeur du métier ETF, Indiciel et Smart beta au niveau mondial. Cette nomination prend effet le 6 novembre 2023.

Benoît Sorel commence sa carrière en 1999 à Jakarta chez Crédit Agricole Indosuez dans les activités de restructuration de dette et de financement à l’exportation. Il occupe ensuite plusieurs postes à responsabilité dans la banque d’investissement, tout d’abord au sein de l’équipe de Conseil aux Souverains chez Lazard Frères (2001-2006) puis en dérivés actions chez Bank of America (2006-2007) et ensuite chez Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (2007-2011).

En 2011, il rejoint BlackRock en tant que Responsable du développement des ETFs & Index Investing pour la France, la Belgique, le Luxembourg et Monaco. Il est ensuite nommé responsable de l'offre produits des ETFs & Index Investing pour la zone Europe, Moyen-Orient et Afrique (EMEA) en 2018.

Benoît Sorel est diplômé de l’ESCP-EAP avec une spécialisation en Finance.
