Fund Channel selected by ING Germany to streamline its fund distribution services

Fund Channel, the B2B fund distribution platform jointly owned by Amundi and CACEIS, and ING Germany announced a partnership to fully standardise the trailer fees processes of the bank.

ING Germany started a selection process in July 2023 with the following objectives:

• Align processes & implement synergies;

• Focus on more client added value;

• Harmonise the management of its distribution agreements and trailer fees collections;

• Reduce operational complexity.

Thanks to this partnership, ING Germany will benefit from Fund Channel’s ecosystem of fund distribution services with one single entry point that helps streamline operations and provide more secured processes. The automated and digitalised platform allows to upscale reporting efficiency as well as deal with regulatory oversight.

Ronny Förster, Product Area Lead Brokerage at ING Germany: “We are looking forward on the partnership with Fund Channel as it streamlines our operations processes and simplifies our distribution management.”

Pierre Adrien Domon, CEO of Fund Channel: “We are delighted with this partnership. Fund Channel is eager to make its innovation and technological expertise available to leading financial institutions such as ING Germany, providing them with the latest digital solutions in an open-architecture scheme. This collaboration is in line with our objective to reinforce our presence in the German fund distribution market.”
